Really liked this when I read it this morning...
What I realized is that there is not just one big moment of courage in our lives. There are many. These moments come to us in different ways. At times we are forced into a leap (unexpected pregnancy, when parents or partners pass away, when we loose our job). At times we are called into a leap (when someone invites us for a trip of a lifetime, when our partner wants to move to a new city, when we are offered a chance, when we take the "money maker" role to support our family). Then there are also the daily tiny leaps we take for the sake of adventure (when we try new types of food, music, when we go out on a date, when we talk to a stranger, when we transition from blogger friends to real life friends). No matter how small, silly or hard, tiny, dramatic or forgotten... All leaps are important because little by little, we live through change, we figure out how to cope, we move forward, we learn who we are, and we build our confidence for the bigger leaps, the ones we seek for ourselves.

2009 Word
I've picked my word for 2009: FEARLESS. It doesn't quite mean no fear. More like having the balls to do certain things this year. Fearless for me is falling madly in love again, even though you've been hurt before. Fearless is to have faith that someday things will change. Fearless is having the courage to say goodbye to someone who only hurts you, even if you can't breathe without them. I think loving someone despite what people think is fearless. Letting go is fearless. Then moving on and being alright....that's fearless.

Project 365
So I'm on board with this picture a day thing. I tried to start it last year, but just didn't keep up with it. I'm hoping to get my hands on one of these kits which would really help keep the project going!!

New Room Pictures
So here are some updated photos of my room. There are still a few things not in these pictures that have been recently added or plans that I have that aren't finished! I have a new custom built white chair for sitting at my scrapbooking table. It's beautiful! It was handmade by the same guys who built all of our cabinets in my parents house! I sketched out what I wanted the chair to look like so it matched my table and they built it! You can also see my huge mirror still leaning on the wall. I want to get some thick and chunky frame to put around it and hang it up. You can also see all of the frames on my dresser. Now that I have the new printer, I plan on making a collage of pictures right about the dresser. I was all black frames with black and white photos in them. Some new pictures and some super old pictures! Can't wait to finish that! There's also a picture of the sitting area with only one chair. That's not the chair I want to have there, but it's working for now. I eventually want one chair on each side of that little table. The large mirrow is also going on the wall behing this sitting area! You can see all the junk sitting on the floor in the corner. Well that's were my desk is suppose to go! It'll all get there in time!

Golf
This is the start of a book which is to include pictures from high school golf! I have a lot of pictures from those years! After this book I want to start a new book with all of my pictures from college golf (even more!). I'm just glad that I've started it. I also haven't gotten to do the journaling on a few pages! Ooops!

Layouts
Here are some layouts that I've done. Since I don't have any kids (which seems to be what the majority of scrapbooks scrap about) I scrap about my friends, my dozens of neices and nephews, and pictures of myself growing up! I figure I better do these things now before I do have kids and only scrap about them!

Bachelorette Book
This is a book I just finished making! It has a bunch of pictures from my best friends bachelorette party! It was so much fun! We had a blast! I love this little black chipboard album for these pictures, it seems to fit perfect! This only took me one night to make! How great is that? It helps when you have a new printer! The new printer really throws you into a creative surge! It's great!

New Room
So here are a few pictures from my new room! It's not finished yet, but it's pretty close. The first picture is my bed! How great does it look?! I think it looks like a hotel room. But that's just me. It's so nice and fluffy and comfortable! I still have to finish the painting on the wall behind my bed. The next picture is the other end of the room. You can see my scrapbooking table right in the middle of the room. There will also be some doors put on the closet in the back. The last picture is half of my closet. I finally have my own walk in closet! There's so much room that I might have to go shopping to fill it up!
